Double Hutch
The Ware Premium Plus Double Decker Hutch gives you two levels of space for multiple critters. Each level of this condo-style unit features an enclosed "den" that is accessed by a Hop-Out door. The open-air sections of the levels are enclosed by galvanized wire with 1-inch spacing for safety. Slide-out trays beneath each level make for easy clean-up, and the unit assembles quickly with minimal tools required. Asphalt shingles on the hinged roof provide extra weather protection. This hutch is constructed of fir wood with a non-toxic, weatherproof finish.

[...] When it arrived, it was easy to assemble with just the assistance of an 11 yr old.The only thing that we added we more study latch systems on the closed portion of the hutches. The hearts are cute but are not enough to deter the occasional backyard predator.Bottome line...we are very pleased with or purchase and so are our rabbits! [...] Thanks!!

I have had number of compliment's on the hutch. The only problem I see is it is not of very high quality. Wood work is very thin and the hutch should be alittle longer in length and width to give ample room for full grown rabbitts. The caging is not set up for water bottle's because the water bottles hang to low or to high with no in between. Wire caging bottom the rabbitts walk on should have smaller mesh for rabbitts feet so as to not cause blisters.I wouldn't recommend leaving it outside because a preditor like a fox or coyote could easily tear through it.

Like the cage, but the box was damaged when arrived and a few pieces of the wood were damaged. Needed some repair that we did. Since this has been a common complaint with this product, why has the shipping problem not been addressed?

Exactly what I was looking for! We use this indoors and it looks great, more like furniture than a rabbit pen. and love the pull out trays for easier clean up.

I love my new bunny cage! I've only had it put together for about 4 days now, but so far so good. It was very easy to assemble. There was one problem. It had a messed up place in it when it arrived. But it was fixable so it's okay! One of the bunnies in the cage is chewing on parts of it a lot. Hopefully she will quit.... But overall, it's an awesome cage and I'm SOOO glad I got it! :)

Comments about Ware Premium Plus Double Decker Hutch:
Soft, cracked and dented wood. It was so poorly packed that the fronts of both cages were damaged by the staples in the shipping box. The wood is so soft that you can dent it with your fingernail. The 1st cage was bad, its replacement was worse.
Bottom line, don't buy this sorry excuse for a cage!

Q1: Is this cage big enough to fit lionheads in it?
A: From our knowledge and brief research on lionhead rabbits, they appear to grow to a max of 5-6 lbs. The rabbit will fit in this hutch without a problem. However, due to the small size of lionhead rabbits we do suggest you may need to put carpeting or woven mat down at the wire flooring or bottom of the cage to prevent their feet slipping through the wire grid.
