The large size of the Trixie Natura Rabbit Hutch with Enclosure - Natural allows for a small group of animals to find a cozy home there. Constructed from weatherproof glazed pine and coated metal bars, this two-story hutch includes a pull-out plastic tub that makes cleaning the hutch easy. The hutch also has roof flaps that open at the top, and the roof has mineral-surface roofing paper. Some simple assembly required. Dimensions: 48.25L x 37.75W x 29.75H inches.

I looked all over for an affordable rabbit hutch that would allow for my bunnies to get some grass time. I bought this hutch based on design and customer reviews. I am not disappointed but there were a couple of things that surprised/concerned me.
-The construction instructions for all intensive purposes are in German. The english instructions are very minimal and you really have to study the pictures.
-There is not a wire floor between the bunnies and the slide out drawer which means until I can jerry rig one, my bunnies will be sleeping and walking in their own waste.
-The set of latches included to hold the roof sections up appear to be two for the same side. This may have been a packaging error but for the time being, I will forgo installing them as one side fits and the other is backwards.
-The ramp between floors is on the flimsy side. We got it screwed in but it came off its screws as soon as we tried to moved the hutch from where we put it together to a good spot in the yard. For the time being, we are propping it up between floors.
-I think the main latch on the upstairs hutch should be a better quality and larger. It is a double-sided slide bolt but the pin is rather short so you have to be very careful that the pin is evenly in each catch or I predict it will be very easy to make a mistake and bunnies can be lost from not having the bolt 'just so'.
Otherwise, i am very pleased with the look and design and given that my bunnies have only been in it for a couple of hours now, I think they are very happy with it too.

When we opened the box, the removable tray had a large crack in it. I have emailed the company with pictures attached to see if they will replace it for free, we will see. Otherwise, the unit was fairly easy to set up. Another review stated that the directions were in German, mine however, did have some English instruction which was nice. I wish the unit was a little more durable, it seems awfully light/flimsy, but all in all, Im happy with it. My daughters rabbit seems happy too.

I did a ton of research on hutches for 2 baby rabbits we recently purchased. I ended up with this one based on reading the reviews and the price seemed very reasonable. It shipped super quickly and only took us about an hour to assemble. My husband & I think this was a GREAT deal and on very nice looking hutch. I love that the bunnies are able to be on the ground and go up top to hide as well - plenty of room! There are 2 doors on the bottom, the 2 front doors up top, and the roof opens up as well.
My only complaint is that there is not a grate cover the pull out drawer, so the bunnies are hopping around in their litter (I did, however, know this prior to purchasing). We will probably DIY this and cover the litter drawer with a grate.

Our Lionhead Rabbit has so much space and runs around, up and down the slope like a rocket! This hutch was easy to put together (I did it all with one screwdriver). It is also bigger than I expected so this is a great buy! The only thing I would chance is there is no wire on the bottom level so I will add that my self so our rabbit does not dig his way out.
Over all, best price and quality hutch I have found in all my rabbit raising years!

this is a nice hutch because it has the "nesting" area for the bunnsn to get a little peace and quiet.
the MAJOR problem i have with it is that it doesn't have a wire grate on top of the top hutch flooring. trying to train my buns to use the litter box, but in the meantime i have to put recycled paper litter on the whole bottom of the hutch which gets a little spendy - or they would be hopping around in their own pee and poop. if your buns are not already trained - i would definately say get one with the wire flooring - otherwise this is a nice hutch for the indoors.

2 of the hinges were broken and one board was split. Easy fixes and Bunny really likes his new spacious home. If it didn't survive shipping I am uncertain of durability. Will see.

Q1: Will this hutch hold up in winter weather conditions?
A: Yes, our supplier has stated their rabbit hutches have been sold all over the US and frequently in Canada where it gets VERY cold.
