The Trixie Natura 3 Story Rabbit Hutch can house several rabbits or small animals with its ample space. Constructed from weatherproof glazed pine and coated metal bars, this three-story hutch includes extra-high pull-out plastic tubs that makes cleaning each room easy. The roof, which can be opened from the top, has sanded felt. The attic can be used as a storage space or filled with straw for better insulation. An outdoor run has a door at the front and at the side. A lockable hatch with plastic coating allows each level to be used separately. Some simple assembly required. I ordered 2 of these at the same time and both had a few doors that were cracked where the screws were put in too close to the edge.Both wood pieces were splintered where roof is hindged.Overall Wood construction is thin and will not last long outdoors.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Fairly easy to construct; issue putting roof on but that may be our issue, not the product. Very attractive, even inside the house. It would be nice if we could buy a tray for underneath the hutch as we are using it inside. Latches on doors a bit too short, although if positioned just right, they work just fine. Bottom line is that our rabbits are going to be very happy and, just as important, safe while living inside this unit. We tried the Guinea Pigs in it too; they seemed to like it and if this hutch turns out to be as good as it initially looks, we will be back to buy another.
