All wire panels are made with heavy-duty wire mesh with a black epoxy coat finish. Waterproof leg protectors with adjustable feet accommodate for uneven surfaces. This durable wood rabbit hutch is easy to assemble and comes in two sizes: medium and large.
The Rabbit Shack Wood Hutch-Medium features a solid wood frame, wooden back wall, three wire mesh panels, and a wire door on the front. The plastic pan is removable for easy cleaning.
The Rabbit Shack Wood Hutch-Large is constructed of solid wood with two wire mesh panels. This rabbit cage features a built-in, ventilated breeding/nesting area. The separate access door has a sliding bolt latch to secure the area. Two extra-deep plastic pans with individual slide-out trays make clean up quick and convenient. This rabbit hutch includes two sets of flooring: wood slat and hygienic wire with 0.75- x 0.625-inch spacing for minis and guinea pigs. The bottom of the hutch stands over 24 inches above the ground.
Safety Tip: Remove all collars and leashes before allowing your rabbit to enter the hutch.

I have been looking for a bunny hutch for so long! Mostly due to cost and reviews were poor on the ones I looked at. The price seemed right and since weather is fastly approaching. Need to move bunny into a warmer enviornment. I am a mom who cannot say no, (in regards to animals) so all "my" pets are are a bit to take care of. This hutch is easy to assemble for a woman, lightweight, but seems sturdy enough. Great size. Looks like it will be a breeze to clean.

This rabbit hutch was really easy to put together. It took a bit for our rabbit to adjust to her new home. Interesting enough, she started chewing the wood that borders the wire floor to the point of exposing the screws that hold it together. Now, we may have an unusual rabbit, but I think the manufacturer should test hutch wood that isn't considered edible by its occupant. We like the design and look of the hutch, but we fear that the wood isn't going to stand the test of time, or even this winter. Also, the slide-out tray needs to be spaced a bit farther below the hutch floor. Even after one day of rabbit poop, it always gets caught and falls to the floor when you're sliding the tray out.

This hutch is used for a classroom rabbit. It gives the animal enough room to move around-- and it makes it very easy for my students to clean him with the removable tray underneath.

Very very easy to assemble. Compared to other cages that I looked at in local stores the price was unbeatable for the quality...probably wouldn't put this hutch outside if there were a lot of local predators...a raccoon would be able to easily break in...but if you keep it in your home it's very easy on the eye!

This hutch will work great for indoor use, However it came damaged, (no fault of Hayneedle) and they will correct it.

I received the hutch in less than a week after ordering it. It was easy to put together and is the best price I found for a cage this large. So far I am really happy with it. Just a little worried about it not being sturdy enough. Also, my bunny loves to chew the inside, but I will try the bitter Apple spray and see if that helps.
