I am very disappointed with the rabbit hutch. It is much smaller than I anticipated, the doors do not lock properly and the slide out to clean the hutch wobbles. I placed a piece of cardboard underneath so it would be more steady.

We use it for outdoor entertainment for our cat(inside our fenced in back yard). He can be upclose and personal with the birds, squirrels,etc. but he cannot cause them any harm. He will stay outside for hours and the upper level ensures he has protection in case it starts raining and I don't get out there to get him right away.

Cute hutch for 2 small bunnies. I wish the wood was a little harder. Bunnies are already chewing on it. One of the roof pieces came damaged in the package and Hayneedle customer service was wonderful and called the company that makes the hutch for a replacement part. The item was shipped in about 3 days! HayNeedle has Great Customer Service! I would buy from again just because they took such good care of me.

This hutch is very cute and was very easy to put together.It stands about 2.5" at the peak of the roof, is about 18" wide, and 3' long.I have a half Flemish Giant rabbit.This hutch will hold him and maybe one small sized rabbit.It will not hold 3-4.The wood is soft and rather flimsy.It is not sturdy enough to deter any predators.It looks as though it would rot easily if left outside in inclement weather for any length of time.A strong wind will blow it over.If it is in a sheltered location it would probably be okay for a while.My rabbit would probably eat his way through it too.It would be good to use just to take your rabbit outside for a while (supervised) if you have a house bunny but it won't last long if left out in the weather.It doesn't seem that it would shelter an outside rabbit for long.Spend your money on material and build your own. I plan on sending it back.
