A top opening would be great on this cage, along with the side door. Floor grating is smaller than some and much better for bunny's paws! It is durable...Cameo keeps biting the wire when she wants to come out and play and I am totally comfortable she will never destroy it or damage it. I took out one wall and attached another cage to it to make it twice as big...it is perfect now...as she grew she needed more space. Making it longer also allows for a larger litter pan in the corner...much more suited to her size. I love this cage!

Not so durable.

We liked this cage alot but our little 6 month old rabbit has just pulled one of the door wires off. So the door is not so durable or my bunny is just really strong. Now we have to figure something out to fix it temporarily. The walls of the cages wires are much thicker then the door - they should of made the door the same thickness of wire! We might need to get a new cage now!?

I would really rather it be taller than what it is so babs cans stand up on her hind legs and stretch a bit but I do let her rome freely. I didn't want to pay a fortune for a bigger cage that prolly would not have been big enough still. I really like how easy the cleaning will be with the pull out pan. It would be better if there were a door on top of it instead the front so access to the rabbit is easier.

This cage would do the job I suppose but it came broken and is a bit flimsy so I'm hoping to return it. I did like that the cage bottom was not chicken wire so it seemed easier on the bunnies feet.

I purchased this cage to replace a cage that had a plastic bottom that had cracked. The door on that cage also had one horizontal bar that was coming off. This cage has more vertical bars than the old one and is completely made of metal. Even the tray is made of metal. I purchased the medium size which is a good size for a Dutch rabbit. After reading some of the other reviews, I put in a piece of cardboard for the bunny to sit on. Cuddles threw the cardboard out. He loves the bouncy feeling of the floor and he seems to like that he can see out of his cage better. Cuddles would tell you to get this for your bunny!

This looked bigger than it actually was. The length is good, but the width & height a bit small for a big bunny. Assembly was easy, but its sometimes difficult to get the tray started in the groove. I had to put the cage in a box, as our bunny splashes pee all over the place, so I prefer our other cage with its 4 inch deep bottom tray. We only use it at night, he has a hutch for day use. The bottom is all wire mesh, so he has no solid surface to sit on. We put paper down for him to lay upon. The tray is a good feature for cleaning, and we are adapting to it, I just prefer the ease of our other bun's cage.
