This bowl is great when I am camping with my dogs. I can leave the dogs with some H2O on hot days while I am not in the site and since I keep my crate in my tent I dont want my dogs spilling water.
I wouldnt recomend leaving the dog in the crate with the bowl removed (for long periods) though, I can only imagine what damage my mutts would do to themselves on the clip.

I love the way these bowls fasten to the side of the crate. They are small and great for short periods of time. We leave the crate door open and she will quite often drink from this instead of her regular bowl. She seems to really enjoy eating and drinking from them.
