The coop arrived early, which really helped. The wood was a little bit cheaper and lighter than I had hoped, however, the roof is heavy duty (although you can't try and hang your food from the inside roof..it is not strong enough wood to hold it). The little window is really, really cute and my kids like to see which chicken is upstairs and which are downstairs. I am really pleased with the appearance of the coop and it is not unsturdy, it just has thinner wood than I expected for the money.

3 pullet hens and some guinea hens. Have to put up a kennel now and get something else to house the quineas. Already order something else for inside the kennel that I have ordered... but the hutch is very small. Took a long time to assemble. Actually had the carpenter that was working on my house put it together. Took a long time. I promised him I would never have him put together a chicken coop for me again. Very frustrating process. Directions are not very clear. Parts missing and many chipped parts. Need to get a kennel around it...doesn't seem strong enough to keep away fox, coyote, raccoons and skunks!

I have 4 hens. I wanted a small coop to shelter my hens that would include a run. This is too small for 4 adult hens.
It arrived broken but I replaced the broken pieces and began to assemble. More pieces fell off as I was putting it together. In short, by the time I found scrap wood to replace parts, and/or glued pieces back on the thing, I was totally unhappy. I estimate it will rot in 6 months or be termite ridden. Still,needing a shelter ASAP, I will use until it falls apart which will buy me enough time to build something. I estimate I can build one for half the cost that will be 3 times better.
The roof appears to be sprayed with abestos. and it sheds everywhere.
Just stay away from this product.

Bought coop for grandchildren's Easter chickens. Waste of money. Too small for anything more that a couple of bantam chickens. Bought coop to keep predators out. Flimsy BALSA wood material will not protect. The coop is suppose to be weather resistant. Won't withstand a strong storm. Instructions consisted of a few pictures. Wood was broken where latch was attached, had to relocate. Should have sent back but already assembled before realized how small.

It is smaller than I had thought, but very cute. I dont think the chickens can stay in it during the Iowa winters. Really no way to hook up a heat lamp inside.The parts list and directions leave a lot to be desired.
